I started the Daily UI challenge recently and thought it could be a good little exercise to have some sort of vague project every day. I'll be posting the ones i'd personally like to talk about and elaborate on why I did what and why I liked it. With this project I just wanted to hit the basics and really spend most of the time on an interesting color palette. I wanted to create a form that I would see browsing the web and stop an admire!
The last few months have been pretty amazing. I've been putting my head down and after 8 hours of work each day and an hour to 2 hours of working out, i'll go home and work on some freelance work or portfolio projects until late at night. Honestly I thought it would be exhausting but I think the work has revitalized me in a way. I'm more interested in getting up earlier and working harder, my portfolio pieces are more risky and have led to me learning a lot of new and exciting things I plan on bringing to a lot more future projects. I think the lesson learned is that when you are feeling burnt out from your passions you should take a step back, re-align your goals and go back at it with full force. Nothing snuffs out that burn out feeling more than good old fashioned fulfillment.
I'll be posting more often on the blog with some little projects here and there.
